Dear All,
If a Notification requires a Response then one will not be able to close and delete it from the Inbox before it is being responded to.
If a Notification has a Cancel / Reassign/ Retry option, hitting the Cancel button will delete it from the Inbox/ Worklist .
If a Notification does not have any current actions open one can conduct the 2 following options to delete it from the Inbox/Worklist
1 - Select the Notification and Select the Close button from the Worklist.
If there is no Close option then :
2 - Run the Purge Obsolete Workflow Runtime Data program for the Item Type in question ( for example Contract Alert,Contract Approval ) from the System Administrator responsibility to clean out Notifications which do not require a response that are older than a certain number of days determined by the number that you enter into the Age parameter of the Concurrent Request.
